NEIGHBORHOOD

The Town of Shelburne is located at the intersection of Highway 10 and Highway 89. Like many communities in the region, the Town was first established in anticipation of the Toronto, Grey and Bruce Railway that passes through the community.  Shelburne is home to a vibrant arts and culture community and is surrounded by a rich natural environment. Spend time outside exploring the diverse network of parks and trails or come out to one of the many events or festivals. The Heritage Music Festival is one of the biggest annual attractions. The festival takes place every summer and includes a number of fun events, such as a fiddle championship, musical performances and a parade. The community is a great place to do business. The historic downtown includes lovely picturesque architecture and a growing business sector.

The Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex (CDRC) hosts a variety of recreational programs for Shelburne residents. You can join a sports team or club that trains out of the centre or take part in one of our many recreational programs. The Town of Shelburne is the Heart of Trails in the County of Dufferin and the surrounding area. There is a variety of greenspaces and urban parks within the community as well as conservation areas and provincial parks in the surrounding region. Explore Shelburne through the many parks and trails!
